Company Information

TeraByte Unlimited, was established in 1992 as a sole proprietorship in Palm Springs, CA.  The company got its start by providing a wide range of computer services, including sales of hardware and software, consulting, repair, network installation and custom programming for the IBM PC and IBM midrange platforms.

In 1994, TeraByte Unlimited began development on a unique multi-boot solution that became the first in the BootIt line of multi-boot boot managers, which continues to be the industry-leading boot management product. (click here for a quick history of BootIt)

TeraByte Unlimited moved to Las Vegas, NV in 1998 and in 2001 incorporated as Nevada corporation; TeraByte, Inc. dba TeraByte Unlimited.

TeraByte is not only a software development company but a core technology company that has licensed its technology to partners that develop the branded software for some of the largest technology companies in the world.

Our products contain our own proprietary technology developed in-house for over 20 years; from TBOS, graphic frameworks and device interfaces, to file system and compression engines.  Our software solutions are relied upon to support some of the worlds most mission critical systems.
