Image for Linux/Windows on USB flash drive + UEFI boot

Hi folks,

I have Lenovo Tablet 2 with Windows 8 and with UEFI "bios" (that is not a real bios).
Disabled the SecureBoot.
I formatted my 8Gb flash drive to FAT32, copied files all required files from Image for Linux/Windows (initrmfs.gz, isolinux.bin, isolinux.cfg,vmlinuz,...) and made an attempt to load from usb flash drive.

But it hangs at "Loading init rmfs.gz..."

Could someone advice what I am doing wrong ?

Both IFW (TBWinRE) and IFL support booting standard UEFI. Did you try using the standard TBWinRE or IFL boot media created using MakeDisk? Since it's Windows 8 you may have better results with TBWinRE.

Tried to do according the manual http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/howto/ ... torial.htm - nothing nappened on screen befoer and durign Windows 8 loading.
Tried to do Image for Linux with usb flash via IFL-Create Recovery Boot Disk script - hangs at "Loading init rmfs.gz..."

If you created the TBWinRE boot media (e.g. USB flash drive), make sure it's plugged in and the BIOS is set to boot it first -- or use the BIOS Boot Menu (if available) to select it. On fast booting Windows 8 systems you won't have time during boot-up to select it.

Otherwise, were there any errors or warnings when running the TBWinRE build?

Use makedisk to create the bootable IFL UFD or CD. You can try the CD if
the UFD still gives you an issue.
