Error after pasting over data partition to SSD harddrive

Both the IDE drives are EMBR partitions but the SSD drives are GPT partitions (including the few partitions I have attempted to paste over)

And the pasted partitions sometimes show the warning about LBC in additional info pane, and sometimed just that it's not bootable...

That's good, now look at properties of each partition, if you see the endlba issue, you can fix it via hold left-shift while entering properties to manually set the endlba to match the value. After checking each partition, then go back and look for E's, that would be overlapping partitions. You have to fix that. If your source drive is good, just use image to copy the entire drive with scale to fit, compact if needed as explained before.

Should I wipe the 2 SSD drives (which currently contain a few of the pasted partitions following my initial attempt) prior to this?

Will the original BIBM installation be imaged onto the SSD with the imaging process, and be functional? Or will I need reinstall BIBM on to one if the SSDs?

Also, I don't want a backup stored image of the original IDE disks - I want functional copies of the IDE partitions on the SSD drives (to effectively replace the IDE disks). Does imaging in the way you suggest give this result?

You only need to check your existing IDE drives.
1 - backup entire drive.
2 - ensure no "E" items you need to fix.
3 - check properties of each, if ending lba warning, fix it via holding left-shift when entering properties (and enter the warning value in the endlba field)
4 - double check "E" issues.
5 - Use imaging option to copy the "entire drive" with the change disk id/guid, scale to fit, option if not using simple operations. If won't fit, compact existing source file systems enough to fit. See https://www.terabyteunlimited.com/kb/kb ... partition/ for more details.

If you're going to try and do things manually, then at least change the target disk type to (E)MBR to match the existing drives your copying from.

Can/should I try to tidy up/delete all those Windows RE MBR entry partitions before copying over or are they all essential?

And does BIBIM need fresh install on one of the SSDs or can I just copy the original BIBM partition over as well?

Have changed ssd "disk type" to EMBR and both Win 10 32 & 64bit partitions manually pasted over successfully

The copies show no errors in Properties either

So I copied over both Win 10 32 & 64bit OS partitions, and they boot ok

Copied over 2 data partitions and got the LBA mismatch again (these had been resized smaller prior to copying from IDE drive)

Did left click/properties and manually entered the LBA but still said "Unable to mount the file system" after clicking Details

Also, shortly after another LBA mismatch warning appeared in Additional Information field..

NB The malalignments occur only on the target ssd drive after pasting - no errors (or E statuses) on source ide partitions
