(SOLVED) IFL size of pointer is about 3 angstroms - teeny tiny

Post by kris455 »

Boot to IFL
it presents 5 or 6 resolution choices - doesn't change anything no matter which one I choose.
Size of Terabyte program window is the same and is fine - easy to see.
Size of pointer is about 3 pixels .

I have a 4K monitor so I am sure it would be usable on a regular 1920x1080.
Unfortunately I know of no way in my bios to set things to a lower res before I choose to boot to the IFL stick.
3.61a I believe.
Thoughts?
Thanks!

the cursor isn't scaled. neither is the right click popup menu on the desktop, those options aren't available.

The pointer is also small (albeit usable) in a 14-inch laptop with 1080 resolution.

so get an additional monitor w 1080i?

The thing is, my electron microscope isn't in front of my computer so every time I want to use IFL I have to wheel it over, and it's big.

Yes, sadly, I noticed... So what can I do besides spending $80 for a cheap 1080i monitor that would only be used for IFL?
Thanks.

You should be able to still see it and use it, but if you can't, you can use the keyboard, there are shortcuts for the items.

YES, it's a bit cumbersome but doable. uses arrows, spacebar, tabkey, and mouse(to get the closing menu - I couldn't figure out how else to get it).
Thanks.
