if i start a backupjob from the commandline, how can i set the priority to high?

So in the following scenario:

reboot machine and start IFW from bootdisk.

would you then recommend it, does it make anything faster since nothing else is runningn on machine?- or is more writing to to the target disk throttled if i use standard priority for not stressing the target disk to much?

depending on what "system config" and what means "how saving"?

My understanding is that IFW will run from within Windows.

IFD/IFL run from a boot disk and could possibly be faster
than running IFW from within Windows.

Or IFW might be faster on YOUR machine.

Test them out.

Hi Mary,

You can create a WinPE based CD with TBWinre. in this you Can include commands that will run automatically - as some smart people explained me here

It's quite wonderful. I was just wondering if in these cirumstances a priority change will mean anything.

If it is the only thing running, then it will not have any effect. I
would not worry at all about 'stressing' your disks - they are very
hardy beasts these days.

setting the priority there is for CPU usage. if you take enough away from
the system it could slow things down as it waits for file writes to
complete.

Ah thanks for the enlightnment in regard to why higher could be slower.

For the part with if you boot from disk, i have a i5 i think 2 cores schould be enough to handle OS and IFW, i think it should be faster then...
