SDHC Cards for Raspberry Pi

Hi there

I would like to make a full backup from a SDHC card (SanDisk Extreme Prof 16GB) which holds the OS for a Raspberry Pi.
And of course being able to restore it

Can I do this with IfD?
If yes, what is the procedure and what parameters do I have to select!

Thanx - I am the lucky owner of the manual.
Moreover, I'm able to read and I normally do so.
Unfortunately I do not succeed in cloning that SDHC card.
I can make a backup, but I am not able to make a restore.

To get back to my problem: Is it at all possible to clone SDHC cards for the purpose I descibed above?

Unfortunately, your prose is not up to scratch as you did NOT say that
you had tried and failed. Neither did you give any indication as to
the steps you took.

I twill backup/restore even partition types unknown, but if the OS has some
special layout or requirement that is based on the drive size, you'd have to
ensure you use the same size. You can also go a step further, do an "entire
drive" with "backup unused sectors" then that is a special raw mode backup
of the entire drive sector-by-sector.

Thanx for answering.
Knowing now in the mind, that it should be possible I made some more trials (each trial takes an hour ..).
Now it works
