Backup Success/Fail Notification

I'm looking for a good way to get some notifications on when my backups complete/fail.
Right now I'm just manually verifying things but I'd love an automatic/programmatic way to do this.
Ideally I'd love to have it send an email with the status if thats even a possibility.

IFW supports sending an email. You can specify different subject lines for success/failure, if desired. See the "Email" option in Settings or the "/email" parameter if using the command line.
