VmWare vCenter Converter Compatibility

It would be very nice if the 'tbi' image files produced by IFW and IFD could be consumed by vCenter.
Other imaging formats are supported by vCenter but IFW is missing.

It might be worth an inquiry by Terabyte to VmWare to see if they are interested in adding support for 'tbi' files.
Failing that, perhaps the option to create images in a format already supported (such as Acronis 'tib' files)
or maybe a converter for after-the-fact use (eg. 'tbi' -> 'tib').

Any interest by others?

the format is proprietary so we don't release to them. you can restore
directly to a .vmdk file or even use the copyp2v.tbs script to convert you
physical machine to virtual.

That's great news.
Offhand I'm not sure how one would restore to a vmdk file using IFW.
"Select where to restore the partition" does not offer any obvious option.
What's the procedure?

add a virtual drive button. let it create it for you.

or just run the terabyte osd tool professional and "run copyp2v.tbs" and it
will take care of restoring your physical machine backup to virtual.
