Backup Doesn't Appear on IFW log or TBI Notify

Here's the chronology:

1/15/26 2:45 am - Full backup
1/30/26 - Reinstalled IFW upgrading to newest version
1/31/26 2:45 am - Full backup
1/31/26 12:00 pm - Replaced/upgraded SSD
1/31/26 12:30 pm - Restored the 1/31/26 2:45 am backup to the new SSD using TBWinRE on a USB drive
1/31/26 1:00 pm - IFW unexpectedly started a new backup immediately after restore. I cancelled this backup after about 1 minute.

The 1/15/26 2:45 am full backup and the 1/31/26 1:00 pm cancelled this backup both appear in the IFW log file and in TBI Notify but the 1/31/26 2:45 am full backup doesn't.

Two questions:

Why doesn't the 1/31/26 2:45 am full backup appear in the IFW log file or in TBI Notify, and
Why did IFW start a new backup after the restore?

The logging wouldn't be in the backup you restored since it was locked to the point before the backup start.

The tasks scheduler would have been the one to start it, because you restored and the last backup it knew about was in the past and the option to start as soon as it can after missing backup would have taken affect.
