Lenovo BIOS self Healing Every Boot , Bootit

Hey I'm installing Boot-it 2.09 on New Lenovo Thinkpad E14 Gen 7. NVME Drives are Blanks, if i install Bootit and reboot the computer i get a self healing Bios and it will happen every boot. writing a boot . Tried on 3 new computers, one with stock BIOS, and one with only BIOS updated.
Uninstalling Boot it allows the computer to boot without a bios self heal

I haven't had this issue on any of the GEN 5 or older E14s. I dont see any way in BIOS to turn off this option. it also creates a Bios Selfhealing Folder that 8MB each time on the EFI partition

tried with blank partitions IE only EFI partition with Bootit and with a full windows install with Bootit

you can try setting up the entry in settings like the dell one, you'd have to find the directory it's using, in this case looks like BiosSelfHealing

I Had to set it up, with the .001 and to get it to stop. without the .xxx it would still crate them. and sometimes even with the .001 it kept looping so i threw the book a it and added without .xxx and with .001 and .003 seems to be working after a few boots so far

it is delayed .. in other words you add the entry, the next boot will recreate it, however the next boot after that shouldn't (presuming you don't actually boot those created entries). What happens is the bios looks for \efi\biosselfhealing and if not there, adds it. When the dir name is not in the unmanaged list, it renames it with the .### extension (at which point the next boot would create it again), but as long as in the list it shouldn't rename it this time (unless you are booting those entries in which case it would end up renaming again). you should be able to delete the boot items since they shouldn't be needed.
