Is image for windows faster at backing up a drive within windows than using the boot media made with IFW? I just bought the new version of IFW and found using the usb boot disk was slower than when I backed up the same drive in windows. Is that normal?

If you're talking about TBWinRE, it's faster than images done in Windows 11 25H2 for us.
However, if you're using Byte-for-Byte validation in TBWinRE and not in IFW running in Windows, that would make it slower.
