When I choose to copy using IFW from my current Windows 10 hard drive to a brand new larger hard drive the new drive size is the same as the original hard drive. The remaining space on the larger hard goes unformatted?
What can I do so that all of the space on the newer larger hard drive does not go unformatted when copying is completed?
Utilizing all the space on new larger hard drive

After the fact, you can also do it using Disk Management > Extend Volume
