you can copy from the UFD and add a boot item, or use the option to select item from Windows boot menu (BCD).

I always just use EasyBCD and add the boot.wim file to the bcd.

Build a boot disc. That'll get you your boot.wim file. After that, you'll have a boot.win file located in your IFW tbwinre\IFW_BootWIM directory. That can change depending on where you installed it. For me it's C:\Program Files\IFW\tbwinre\IFW_BootWIM. Make a note of that file location.

The download EasyBCD. After installing it, launch it. Then select "Add New Entry" from the left. After that, make sure WinPE is selected from the bottom half as shown, name the entry what you want and browse to the path where your boot.wim is located. After you've added the entry, click "Edit Boot Menu" on the left side to see your entries. Is your new one there?

Sorry, I do not trust EasyBCD...
BIBM is more reliable...

What do I copy from the UFD ??
Over 2,000 people have viewed this thread...
If anyone could explain the above TB answer in more detail, I would appreciate...

EasyBCD is basically a BCD Editor using the Windows API. You can boot items in the Windows boot menu (BCD entries) with BootIt via the OSI option on the boot item you configure via Boot Edit. You can also just copy the WinPE partition off the UFD and then setup a boot item (for UEFI you boot \efi\boot\bootx64.efi from that partition, for normal BIOS you boot that partition).

it's for selecting items from the Windows boot menu if you have it setup with more than one thing.

Paul,

The method is similar to this thread....

viewtopic.php?t=4817

But using TBWinPE instead of IFL. And BIBM instead of BIU.
