Add IFL to Partition

Post by tbifan39 »

I have a USB Flash drive with 2 bootable partitions. I use my system's boot menu to select the partition to boot. I would like to add IFL to a 3rd partition. Is this possible? I already created a UFD using MakeDisk and then copied the files to the 3rd partition. It did not work. It boot to a GRUB prompt.

tbifan39,

Can you try this? Instead of copying files to a partition, copy the IFL partition (not the drive) of a working IFL UFD to your multi partition UFD. Resize the copied partition.

Does it work?

Sorry for the late reply. Yes! It works! Thanks you!

When the next version is release, will I need to move the partition again or can I just copy the new files?

Yes, you can copy the files. I use TBOSDT for the copy.

I prefer having IFL on an internal SSD rather than on a UFD. Booted with BootIt.
