In general there is no issue using other tools to modify partitions on GPT if they work correctly except you should use the TeraByte tools to ensure any multi-boot related references are updated correctly for OS partitions. Unlike EMBR with unlimited partitions which should only use TeraByte tools which are EMBR aware.
