When I search for motherboard upgrade without windows re-install, I find lots of links to software that seems similar to Terabyte's.
I looked through the KBs but didn't find anything relating to preparing for motherboard changes.
Of course I would image the system before the change, but in theory, no restore would be needed since the same SSD boot drive would be in the new system.
TBOSDT Professional seems to have a lot of features that would be useful in this use case, but I don't see any specific references to motherboard changes.
Is there any guideline or KB that would describe any necessary steps to upgrade the motherboard in a working Windows 10 system?

modern windows may just work, if not because a specific storage driver is needed, you can run osdtool.tbs script and apply the standard drivers (including NVMe) which may be enough unless something specific, in case, see the https://www.terabyteunlimited.com/howto/ section on dissimilar hardware which has an example using osdtool.tbs under Image for Linux.
