BIU 2.03 menu is delayed

I installed BIU 2.03 on a Dell Latitude 7450 and its background and toolbars appear immediately on boot but there is a ~30s delay before boot menu appears.

maybe a drive without media in it where the firmware hangs around until it times out?

Found the cause. The setting below was enabled. Disabling it eliminated the delay of BootIt's menu appearance:

Connection>
Enable UEFI Network Stack
