I've been having trouble getting tbwinre wim settings to reflect my ifw.ini after rebuild. I've placed my ifw.ini file in \tbwinre. When I rebuild, reboot, and enter the resulting boot.wim file the IFW's settings do reflect the ifw.ini I used. However, as you can see from the screenshot, the VSS/Phylock settings in the carried-over ifw.ini are not being enforced (yet everything else is). I've verified everything and rebuilt the boot.wim twice, with the same result. Any idea as to why? How can I fix this so that the boot.wim uses the right settings?

The screenshot is only available if you have an account with Wilders.

It is? Well damn. I can't attach it here. Every time I try I get a "over the board quota error." Let's try this.

Re: tbwinre wim settings
VSS and PHYLock are not supported in WinPE/RE and wouldn't be used even if the options were enabled.
If you are pulling in a custom ifw.ini file, it can be helpful to "tag" it so you can determine which one ends up being used. For example, edit the file and place a comment at the top (e.g. "; This is from the \tbwinre folder"). Then you can check this after booting. If the file is replaced the original file is renamed (TBLauncher's log will also indicate some replacements).
In addition to pulling in a custom file as part of the build process, the file can be pulled in from several supported locations when booting and replace the existing file. By default, the installed IFW version is used for IFW WinRE and IFW BootWIM boots.
In your usage, how is the WIM being booted (boot media, BootWIM, IFW WinRE, IFW BootWIM)?
