Hot to delete the folder of a backup

Post by badamsiosllc »

Hello again, 'y'all!

I used IFW/validate to delete an image, but I cannot delete the folder. I get the infamous "you must be an admin." and of course, I am.

It's a 116GB flash drive, with only 74 GB on it, so I could zip the other stuff up, and format it, but there's gotta be a better way.

Right? Right?

Yep. Thant's exactly what I did. Fired up IFW, chose validate, found the file and deleted it, no problem. Per that same article, I looked for but did not find anything resembling protectit under services. I was able to delete the .tbi, but not the folder.

However, per that article - Just read it again:) I was able to stop it using net stop protectit. Wonder why it wasn't in the list of services.

Already disabled the option, so it shan't happen again.

Thanks!
