Dark mode for IFW

Post by Mr.X »

Could you add an own dark theme for IFW and TBIView in case one wants to run it from TBWinRE or TBWinPE?
Not a high contrast black background but a dark gray color.

Any comments on this?
I know remaining silent is an answer itself yet I think a brief explanation would be helpful to understand.

Why not a built-in dark mode. There are imaging programs and others with great interface running dark in WinPE and WinRE. You already know such PEs and REs does not support their own dark theme right?

When I'm doing an image or a restore, I usually don't sit in front of the screen while it happens.

So for me, dark mode is not an issue.

You could customize the winre.wim file for WinRE to run in dark mode.

Easier said than done. Could you point to a tutorial on how to do that please?
