Hi, Just been using the latest 2.66 IFW to try backing up to a BD-RE. For optical write speeds CD/DVD is listed but not Blu-Ray, would leaving this at 'optimal' write at the writers/discs max speed?
Seems to be pretty slow, so wondering if it's not utilising writers full speed.
Thanks
Writing to Blu-Ray, write speed?

Re: Writing to Blu-Ray, write speed?
For DVD and later you just leave the speed to optimal. There were only a
few older DVD drives that may matter with speed, but you may have more
trouble if you don't just use optimal. All the new stuff using incremental
writing and the drive take care of underruns and optimal speed.
