Hiding partitions deleting windows VSS (restore) points

This took me forever to figure out what was causing the problem. Ends up it's hiding partitions in BIBM.
So I dual boot windows 7 and windows 10, one for work and one for everything else. My employer requires a specific AV and I'd also prefer the windows 10 be completely separate from my work installation.
I decided to hide the windows 10 partitions in bibm for this reason. Windows 7 is one parition on it's own ssd, WIn 10 on a seperate sdd with the bibm parition and the three windows 10 partitions (The 350MB "System reserved", my actual partition, and the tailing 450mb WIndows RE partition). I hid all 4 when booting to windows 7.
Everything works, except, when I boot back to windows 10, all VSS restore points are gone!
Is there a way to avoid this other than not hiding the partitions?
Thanks!
Jeff
