Restored exFAT Drive Shows as RAW in Windows

After restoring an exFAT backup to an unpartitioned drive, Windows reports the drive as RAW (not formatted).

The unpartitioned drive must be the exact same size as the source of the backup (it cannot be larger).

To work around this issue, convert the destination disk type to MBR (partitioned) and then restore the exFAT image to the free space.
