BIOS Displays List of Boot Devices at Each Cold Boot

Problem

The system is stuck in a loop with the BIOS presenting the list of boot devices at each boot.

Cause

One potential cause of this can occur if you are using a wireless keyboard.  If the batteries become too weak, key presses won't be processed.

Solution

Change or recharge the keyboard batteries.
