IfW feature request

I wonder if it could be considered to have an 'always on top' option
for the main IfW window? I use a four-pane file manager and when I am
backing up on my network, it is very annoying for the IfW window to
disappear all the time. I am often checking the dates of the latest
backups and deciding what type of backup to perform, and I would like
to see the progress of the current task.
