license number is not working

The license number you sent me this morning by email isn't working; it's not recognized. What's wrong?

That said, the issue is typically caused by using the wrong name/key pair for the given product. The purchase email will specify which is which, and you can also log into the download portal where the key information is listed under the download link for that product.
