Linux btrfs used sectors

Circling back to this, mainly because I set a machine up with CachyOS and went to back it up, is there a plan to support btrfs used sectors only? Got really freaked when I saw only 16GB used by IFL was going to back up 931GB

Btrfs has to be a single contiguous block (normal partition) on a single drive, no spanning or striping for only used sectors option to work.

Well, that machine only has the boot drive and a data drive. Data drive is ext4. IFL still said it was backing up 931GB and it took about an hour. File created was about 4 times larger than other backups, but definitely not 931GB.

you can use the properties of each partition to see which one doesn't show used/free space. Also ensure it's not encrypted and if mbr type, it has the correct file system ID in the partition table.
