Losing my PIN after Restore

I'm running Windows 24H2, IFW v4.04. I mess around with Windows quite a bit, and always have a recent image to restore if I pooch things too bad. Lately I've been playing with WSL, and I've done a few restores. If I restore the partition where I have WSL tucked away, no issue. But, if I restore Windows, my PIN doesn't work for login. I have to go into accounts and remove it, then set it up again. I only noticed this in the last couple of weeks, but it happens every time I restore an image of Windows.
