I have a question about installing Bootit UEFI to my PC which presently is MBR.

I have one partition for BIBM, one for Windows 10, one for Windows 7, and one as a sort of experiment or update partition for both OS's.
I would like to eventually also boot Windows 11 so that would make 3 partitions occupied and carve out another partition for my "sandbox" so to speak.
I have considered doing it this way: Convert to GPT through Windows 10, then install Bootit UEFI, then install Windows 11 on the Windows 10 I am using now so I don't have to start from scratch, then lay down an image of my present Windows 7 or Windows 10 to the "sandbox" partition.
Using Windows 11 or PartWork I could then make another partition as a sandbox partition. In other words have the required number of Windows 11 partitions plus BUEFI and 3 more partitions for 7, 10, 11, and a sandbox partition.

My other option is to just wipe the disk, install Windows 11, make as many partitions as I want with PartWork or 11 then restore the Win 10 and Win 7 partition images to the disk.

Which leads me to the most crucial question: Can I restore a MBR image to a GPT drive?

If your Win7 is 32-bit then it won't boot on a GPT disk.

To answer your last question. Yes.

Can you try this? Uninstall BIBM. Use BIBM boot media to Change Disk Type to GPT.

Set your "BIOS" for UEFI boot.

Install BIU.

In the Run menu use fixboot.tbs to create a Microsoft.xxx for Win10.

In Boot Edit, create a Boot Item for Win10.

If you like, you can omit the uninstall BIBM step as BIBM will be uninstalled when you run chgdtype.tbs.

I checked back periodically and then sort of forgot...
Anyway, I'm still trying to get up the guts to do this. This PC is my main and only one so I don't want to be scratching around for several days when I need to do online stuff like paying bills etc. till I'm pretty sure I'm ready.
I have an extra drive and was considering setting up a GPT drive then laying down images of Win 7, Win 10, and Win 11 just for fun keeping in mind I need my toy for business too. Really for me BIBM was my best choice to image partitions without CD, USB, etc. hence my reason for using it. I rarely boot from the OS I use everyday except in case it is acting buggy.
I'm not particularly wild about Win 11 needing more than one partition supposedly but I guess with GPT this won't matter. I need to do some more reading and will get back here with results to your instructions and thanks for the link. I'm studying that information now.

I'm assuming there is a Run menu in BIU. What is fixboot.tbs and what is a Microsoft.xxx?
As you can see I'm pretty clueless about this. I'm going to read up on Bootit for UEFI some more but this gets over my head pretty quick so it will be some days going forward. I've been pretty spoiled with BIBM
