I have IFL 4.03 and it won't boot on USB drive or DVD on my PC. IFL v3.50 will boot fine on DVD.
The PC it won't boot on is an Alienware Aurora R11, Intel Core i7-10700KF, latest Alienware 1.0.24 Bios 4/2/2004 UEFI.
IFU 4.03 will boot and work fine on this PC.
Here is a photo of the boot up screen when it hangs.

That is the Linux kernel. There is a boot_problems.txt in the help folder of the zip, you can try some of those kernel parameters.

Of course I had to go through all of them and the last one worked.
kernel parameter: blklst1=intel-nvme-remap
Thank you.

Come to find out, IFL will not recognize the NVME drive when it runs, so I can't backup or restore.

your controller is probably in RAID mode, if you use AHCI it would see it. you'd probably need to put it back to RAID mode when done. Another option is Image for Windows with specific drivers for your system or a generic (slower) option of IFD or IFU which use the system BIOS support.

Yeah, putting the bios into AHCI works. IFL boots without putting in the kernel parameter too. Thanks!
