Hi all,

I am unclear about a backup option/setting in IFD/UEFI/LINUX. That is the "Omit $UsnJrnl Data – Selecting this option will omit the NTFS $UsnJrnl data from the backup." When should and shouldn't this option be used? I backup/image NTFS drive/patitions. I plan on making some Symbolic Links for changing locations of some files(swapfile, pagefile, browser cache's etc). So I am asking for any insight to this. The manual only states what I quoted above and I want to make sure I use this option correctly. Any info appreciated.

it was added for a specific purpose as explained in the manual, otherwise just use the defaults the program provides.
