Desktop and My Backups folder

Why does my desktop icons and the My Backups folder get deleted from OneDrive when I uninstall Image for Windows? The desktop icons are for the current user and the My Backups folder is in the Documents folder and I have Desktop, Documents, and Pictures folders synced to OneDrive by default.
