IFW automatic restore issue

Post by Evilxenu »

Hi.

I have an odd problem with automatic restores in version .64. This problem where not present when i used .63 .62. When i updated to .64 when it came out, when doing automatic restores i had to confirm 2 frames to get it to do the restore. 1 saying that things would be erased etc, and another saying that it, when the restore was done, had to restart. If not confirmed, nothing executed. So i of course uninstalled .64 and reinstalled .63 and then all was fine. I have come to understand that no one else i know of have this problem, .64 works just like .63, so i of course wonder what this is all about.

And this was the only change of the pc in hand, only a IFW update was done.

How do i solve this?

what does the ifw.log show for the .64 vs .63 restores? You can email support with it.

Where do i find the logs and, do they always get saved whenever one does a restore?

Check the Log File path in TBWinRE.

Make sure the path exists.
