New OEM Windows computer. Just want to backup the OEM OS drive before I do a clean install from Microsoft Media.
I've gone through Windows welcome menu, creating a single Local Windows Account, and let it apply a few updates.
Verified BitLocker is OFF. Even including recovery partitions, total disk space in use: less than 30GB.
Booted IFL 3.6 from bootable USB. Start full disk backup:
Source disk is an NVMe.
Destination is USB (USB 3.1 Gen 1 both computer and USB-SATA adapter) attached 2.5" SSD formatted EXT4.
YET, 12 minutes in, 40GB processed, IFL is still telling me 894GB left and 6hours remaining.
WHY is it doing a sector by sector copy instead of backing up only data??

Never mind, I mistook "Protection OFF" for no encryption, In fact, it says: Used Space Only Encrypted, 100%
