BootIt UEFI in older UEFI, v2.0

I've tried to install BootIt UEFI in my Dell Latitude E5420, but the installation fails and says "UEFI 2.1 or higher". I'm using v1.43. Is there an earlier version that will install in my old UEFI? I have v1.17 on file.
I can run BootIt BM on the laptop, but not install it, as the laptop is UEFI and not MBR, and BootIt BM says it can only install in MBR.

I assume you've checked if a BIOS update is available for the system.

Otherwise, if required UEFI features don't exist, even if you did install it, it wouldn't be able to function properly.

No. 2.1 has always been the minimum.

The latest BIOS was 12-31-2013, and I'm running it. Is there any way to install BootIt BM?
