Mount backup image, make changes (eg. copy/move/delete files/registry entries), then create new image from it

Post by Mrx »

Similar to writeable images, but the original image is NEVER modified. You mount an image, make changes, then create a new image from it. For example, when image is dis-mounted, it asks if you would like to create a new backup image from it.

Alternatively, you can just create a new backup image from the modified mounted image.

I see there have been some changes which possibly seem related to this, but couldn't get it to work, and documentation didn't mention the option's.

Is this possible and how do you do it ?

use TBIHD to mount and it shows up as a HD that you can modify and backup then umount it when done.
