Is VSSForceDismount=1 same as Attempt Aggressive Lock on Retry?
I don't see VSSForceDismount=1 in IFW gui

Then it must be this setting in the gui, correct?

When I tick that setting in the gui, I don't see a new line in ifw.ini

They are in the registry by default. See /altregview and /plur
