What UEFI version is needed for BIU v1.29

Best I can understand Terabyte says earlier versions of Uefi are unstable and not suited for the windows (GUI?) version of Boot It Uefi and recommends the CUI version.
I have a late 2016 Razer Blade laptop (RZ409-01952E72). The latest firmware update was Feb 2018. It does not specify the Uefi version.
Which version should I instal: CUI or GUI? How would I know fi the GUI version is not working properly?
