IFL USB 3.0 Drive Size Limit?

Post by ddc »

I formatted (NTFS) an 8TB SATA drive in a USB 3.0 external docking station in Windows. I then connected the disk and docking station to another system, booted to an IFL USB flash drive. IFL could not see the 8TB drive, which I hoped to use as a target disk for a backup. I repeated the procedure with a 6TB drive and IFL could see that one. Is there a limit on the USB drive size IFL can recognize? I am guessing that either 8TB is too much for IFL, or there is something wrong with the 8TB drive.

Thanks

IFL doesn't care, Linux should be able to handle it as well. You can create a report via the "create report" option via right click menu (or menus on CUI version, or just "createreport" from a terminal).
