How do I upgrade IFL v2.99 to IFL v 3.30?

I have tried several times to upgrade an older version of IFL. I only can upgrade to version 2.99 but I need the 3.30 version. Must I purchase again?
You can upgrade at 50% off the regular price (if you bought v2 on or after Jan 1st 2016, the upgrade is free).
