Bootnow and IfW hibernation

I have using Bootnow /hibernate. Last light I set IfW to set my PC to
hibernate.

I have just come to my PC some hours later to find it powered up and
locked. It was at the login screen and everything was loaded. There
was no sign if IfW so I assume that my PC had rebooted.

How can I help to troubleshoot this one? Below are the last 3 lines of
the log file.

You could check the event log. It should show what it did. If it rebooted it's possible that Windows updates may have been force installed.

You could run a short test backup/validate task with IFW set to hibernate and then watch it all the way through.

Thanks for that. The log looked 100%

Good idea that second point, I'll run it later and report back.

Did the event log show the system went into hibernation? Did it show it restarted afterwards?

powercfg /lastwake is handy.

This worked okay. Need to see what happens after a proper backup.
