I want to copy a 160Gb hard disk to a new one (320GB). The old has three
partitions, software, data and recovery. I would like to increase the size
of the data partition 1.5 times, keep the recovery partition with the old
size, and use all other space for the software partition (which would be
more than doubled). Is it possible to copy specifying different new sizes?
For example, Ghost lets You do so. I tried with image for dos, but I could
not find information. If it is not possible to do so now, can You please add
this to the wish list for a new release?

Use "Resize Partition"on the Options screen of IFD. Copy the partitions individually.

Thank You for the help. Since I want to copy the whole hard disk, I believe
that I will have to copy the master boot record and the partition table and
so on, to specify which partition must be the active one, and so on. I mean
that to copy single partitions, one per time, in my opinion is not the same
as to copy the whole hard disk, and it is not enough for what I want to
obtain (a ghost of the hard disk, only with different partitions that are
resized to my taste). I will try to look in the site and in the manual to
see if there is any specific information, but meanwhile can You point me to
good information in the manual and/or in the site (knowledge base, videos,
example scripts, and so on)?

For entire drive copy, you can use /nos option to not scale partitions
smaller than the size given. Otherwise, if you want custom sizes, just copy
each one on its own. When you copy the boot partition use the "set active"
and "copy first track" options, if your OS is separate from your boot
partition then when restoring the OS partition (after the boot partition)
use the "update boot partition" option. If you are using OSes before Vista
and are going to move the order of the partitions in the MBR, then use the
"update boot.ini" option.
