I just started periodically backing up my SSD to Blu Ray.
Restore Question: If I were to boot the Blu Ray Disc and Restore to SSD from the Blu Ray Disc will the Restored Partition be properly aligned (Aligned the way it was when Imaged: 1 MB......)? Or do I need to first load IFL (Already set to 1 MB Alignment) and then select the Image on the Blu Ray Disc to Restore? In other words, is there adequate information/configuration stored on the Blu Ray Disc to properly Restore to the SSD?
Thanks in Advance.

Re: Restore to SSD from Blu Ray Disc
TheKid7,
Did you create the image with IFW?
If so, in IFW Settings, General tab, what is selected under CD Boot Image?

I made a Cold Image with IFL.
If I use IFW in the future for Imaging to Blu Ray Disc, what settings do I select in the General tab under CD Boot Image?

The default setting is IFD. To enable the IFL setting you first need to download and install the IFL CD Boot Files for Image for Windows.

Re: Restore to SSD from Blu Ray Disc
Just download the exe from your TeraByte download site and double click.

Do you run the exe in Windows on the PC that you are Imaging? What are the steps after running the exe?

Re: Restore to SSD from Blu Ray Disc
That's right. The CD files are installed to IFW in that particular computer. So when you use IFW to create an image (in that computer) to an optical disk in that computer, the disk created will boot into IFL to do the restore. Simple. You have the choice of an auto or manual restore.
