TBIView saying not permitted to open this file??

Hello
I just created an image using the latest IFL of my XP-machine. I created a password-protection also. The backup file was created successfully and saved to an external drive.
Now on my new Win8 machine I cannot access the file using the latest TBIView. It keeps saying "You are not permitted to open this file. You can have permission from the owner of the file or from an administrator". I AM an administrator and have admin rights. The other TBI-files on the drive opens just fine.

What can I do?

Thanks!! Takeown and icacls did the trick
Pretty weird problem though. Hopefully it will not be necessary to perform these actions next time I create an image.
Why does the problem occur in the first place?
