Best way to restore?

I have a couple of machines that I want to restore images created with IFW onto. These machines do not have disk drives and only have two USB ports.
At first I was thinking of using TBWinPE to boot from USB and then restore from an image that is on an external USB hard drive.
Problem with that is since the machine only has two USB ports (and no PS/2) I can't have a keyboard, thumb drive and external hard drive all hooked up at once.
What do you think my best option is?

Sounds like a USB hub could save lots of problems now and in the future.

Once booted to TBWinPE/RE you can remove the flash drive. They don't normally need to remain plugged in.

That's good to know. I'll be getting an IP KVM soon and that should also help, but being able to remove the flash drive will get me through.
I'd prefer to avoid hubs, just had too many issues with them in the past (cheap ones anyway).

Another method is to have TBWinRE on the same USB external HD that contains the image. Boot the USB external HD.

Image for Linux can be used as well and stick removed once booted.

I will only buy a powered USB 2 hub. And only bad results with cheaper
hubs myself, especially unpowered versions.
So far, I have avoided USB 3 hubs.
I have a Xterasys 4port hub I have had for at least 4 years and still
working.
