QuickBoot Executables

With PowerQuest it was possible to create what was called Quick Boot Executables (QBEs) which could be launched from within windows. These executable extracted files to a temporary folder on the hard drive, then rebooted the computer directly into PowerQuest and performed whichever tasks had been configured. I had previously used them to create a "Factory" image or an "Installed" image and had other QBEs created so that these images could be restored.

Does similar functionality exist with TeraByte Unlimited?

You can create a BOOTFILE. They can be built to use IFD, IFL, or IFW (in TBWinRE/PE). TBOSDT includes the bootfile program and a doc file for it.

IFD: http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/howto/ ... otfile.htm
IFL: http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/howto/ ... otfile.htm

For TBWinRE/PE just set it up how you want and select the menu option to create the boot file.

Thanks very much for the quick response. I'll look into that.
