Tiger Direct & Win 7

Tiger Direct still has some Windows 7 Home Premium X64 laptops available
for around $500. I just ordered one with AMD chip/video.
I use a mouse and Acer has USB ports positioned where I can do that.
HP put the audio and mic input on the right side of some computers.
Not what a mouse user wants.
Not sure if they set it up GPT, though. The more I looked into UEFI &
GPT, the less I liked what I saw.
I just ordered an Acer Aspire V3 with AMD. My old Acer has AMD chip with
Nvidia graphics and video is better than the Intel on this one.
Downloaded various drivers from the Acer site, just in case.
If it is GPT, I may need to change to MBR & use my Windows 7 Family Pack
disk to reinstall and would need those drivers.
I would not be surprised if the EU comes out with protests about being
locked into Windows only like they did with IE a few years ago.
