viewing file permissions in images

Is there any way for me to get a look at the set of attributes relating to permissions on a particular group of files such as I would see by using the "ls -la <folder>" command at the prompt without restoring the image to the disk?

Create a New Folder on your HDD, or Desktop.
Start TBiView, locate your group of files.
Extract to that New Folder.
Examine attributes
Delete that New Folder when done.
