IFD disables USB keyboard and mouse
Re: IFD disables USB keyboard and mouse
Having pondered this further, I've come to realize I don't even need to use the INI variable USBIgnoreMask=2. Since I'm accessing the external USB HDD via Bios direct, IFD doesn't take over the USB busses. Had I tried that first it would have saved much time. Thus, it seems it would be wise to suggest in the IFD User Manual to first try accessing a USB device via Bios direct; and; if that doesn't work, then try accessing via USB with appropriate INI variable. Or is my computer just "different"? Thanks, again!

Most computers are different. Even identical units can have their individual quirks. It just comes down to using whichever option(s) work best on the system.
