Hi
i use the last version of image for windows , i have image for linux too

i used active boot disk to run image for windows to restore images
i tried to create a bart cd too
but i get this error

In those cases, there is usually a program running that is keeping something open on the drive. Generally, a normal Windows Lock is performed on the drive when backing up in WinPE.

Are you running IFW (imagew.exe) from the partition you're trying to back up? That can cause the issue. Otherwise, you could try removing the drive letter assignment for the partition before trying to back it up.

It appears that Autorun.exe (the Active@ Shell) is keeping one or more handles open on the volume (e.g. \Device\HarddiskVolume1). This blocks IFW from getting a lock and it displays the message about PHYLock. You can Ignore and continue with the backup or close the handle(s) (e.g. using Process Explorer or putting the disk offline and back online).

The open handle(s) may not occur every boot-up or may not occur at all. For example, some systems seem to have it only sometimes, some every time, and some have several. It's also possible that different versions of Autorun.exe behave differently.
